Tips from a SAHD #1

We've recently come across Brock Hodkinson who puts together these great little videos from his adventures as a stay-at-home-dad (SAHD). His clips follow the perfect format for us dads - short, funny and practical. YAY! Keep up the good work Brock!

Hey Nico - thanks for your comment. You are quite right - but that's precisely what we have to change I think. Dads desperately need to spend more time with their children and society's perception of that should be that this is nothing unusual. I really think it's time to move beyond old stereotypes ...

Ah - that explains it ... Brock is semi-professional, right? The man is hugely talented! Still - what with all the video editing tools out there every dad can put together a nice little family music video. Brock's videos are great inspiration to do something similar.

Picking a good song is half the battle I reckon

Great stuff, unfortunately not many dads will spend such time with their kids. I love taking my 2 girls (7 and 13) to the pools or beach for some awesome play-fighting.
I remember a day at the park and we were rolling through the grass with the 3 off us in an attempt to do a "sit on dad" session..
Unknown too me there were a crowd of people watching us from the pathway smiling and enjoying the scene. One of the watching dads said to me: You don't see that a lot between dads and daughters....
To me it's just normal bonding.
