DIYFather wins New Zealander Of The Year title

The DIYFather team is honoured to be awarded the title of 'New Zealander of the Year' by North & South Magazine. DIYFather features in the magazine's latest January 2010 issue released today as the winner of the education category for the popular annual competition showcasing the story of everyday Kiwis striving to make a difference in the world.

DIYFather is in pretty good company as other winners include comedy and movie stars The Topp Twins, olympic gold winner Valerie Vili and iconic kiwi entrepreneur Ian Taylor.

The intro for the article on DIYFather reads "From a simple online forum three Wellington men now offer a father-lode of parenting tips and articles to first-time dads worldwide". The feature article summarises the journey of DIYFather, highlighting successes and turning points along the way. The story ends with an outlook of all the exciting DIYFather projects lined up for 2010 (perhaps a bit more detailed than we would have thought - but hey ... no worries).

So thanks North & South Magazine and everyone who voted for DIYFather!
